Gábor Bódy
Gábor Bódy (*1946 in Budapest, †1985 in Budapest) was a co-founder of the K3 experimental film collective in Hungary and is best known for his feature film Nárcisz és Psyché (Narcissus and Psyche, 1980). As a filmmaker who experimented with video and computer technology, Bódy also rose to prominence in 1980 as editor of the first international video magazine Infermental (1982–1991). His avant-garde films juxtapose images, words, and music relating to real and fictional subjects with clever manipulations of film and video footage to challenge the commercial imagery of television and its production practices.
