Wojciech Bruszewski
Wojciech Bruszewski (*1947 in Wrocław / Poland, †2009 in Łódź / Poland) is a pioneer of Polish video art. In addition to video and film, his work includes photography, installation, and computer graphics. Bruszewski was a member of the group Zero-61 in Toruń / Poland, which was united by an experimental and “non-canonical” approach to artistic techniques. In the early 1970s, Bruszewski began to shoot experimental films and was part of the establishment of Warsztat Formy Filmowej, a group of avant-garde artists working at Łódź Film School / Poland between 1970 and 1977.
