Una H. Moehrke (*1953 in Hanover / Germany, lives in Berlin) studied art history, religious studies, and philosophy at the Freie Universität Berlin and painting at the Universität der Künste Berlin. Her work mainly includes painting, drawing, and performance. Often, philosophical visual thinking and universal questions serve as the context of her works. From 1994 to 2018, Moehrke was a professor of Art and Art Education at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule in Halle / Germany.
