Marina Naprushkina

Belarus’ segodnja. Belarus heute shows five workers reading articles from the daily state newspaper, whose title can be translated as Belarus Today. The diction has a totalitarian color; the texts remain uncommented. Naprushkina, who runs the “Office for Antipropaganda,” alludes in this performance to the “polit-information” held in Belarusian schools and workplaces, an obligatory round of agitation in which political articles are read and “discussed.”
