In her works, Maja Weyermann (*1962 in Huttwil / Switzerland, †2016 in Berlin) reflects on the increasing intermingling of fictional, virtual, and real spaces by means of complex image constructions, different spatial perspectives, and playing with transparency and reflection. With references to architecture, film, and memory, she explored representations and perceptions of space as culturally- and socially-shaped constructs.
