Irit Batsry is often concerned with the process of abstraction and the question of the traces of vision. a simple case of vision, based on a text by Buckminster Fuller about his eyesight, questions processes of vision and perception. In Scale, Batsry takes this subject a step further with the human figure (and Giacometti) in mind while in Traces of a Presence to Come she combines voice and image to a breathing search for identity in an audiovisual utopia.
