Cerith Wyn Evans

Degrees of Blindness

Shaped by his engagement with the various cognitive and semiotic laws of perception and inspired by a poem by William Blake, in Degrees of Blindness, Evans explores the complex of perception and vision. His complex and opulent visual collage combines the theme of the Fall with shots of blind children, who decoded the world with the help of texts written in Braille, and with depictions of new forms of visual representation.
