In his videos, photographs, installations and interventions, Nasan Tur (b. 1974 in Offenbach / Germany, based in Berlin) deals with political and social issues in a humorous way. The focus is mostly on approaching cultural differences and on reflecting the pro-cesses of social marginalization. Video of the Month is the title of a series of presentations featuring works from the n.b.k. Video-Forum collection, which were shown on n.b.k.'s website and in the n.b.k. Video-Forum’s viewing room, complemented by critical essays. The series is curated by Kathrin Becker.
