Jewish Museum Berlin

The core exhibition Jewish Life in Germany: Past & Present at the Jewish Museum Berlin revisits the history of the Jews in Germany from the Middle Ages to the present day, with a focus on the years after 1945. The exhibition combines historical events with diverse insights into Jewish culture and religion. In addition to the presentation of objects and art installations, the Jewish Museum invites visitors to participate in interactive virtual reality experiences. The core exhibition includes works by Yael Bartana, Mila Tanya Griebel, Victoria Hanna, Hagit Hollander-Shimoni, Anselm Kiefer, Gilad Ratman, and Sari Srulovitch.

Julia Friedrich, Director of Collections of the Jewish Museum Berlin since March 2022, will give an exclusive guided tour through the core exhibition for members of n.b.k. and grant us specials insight into the work of the Jewish Museum Berlin and into her position as Director of Collections.
