In her work, Welsh artist Bethan Huws explores language as a medium of art in depth. She pursues this exploration through various media, spatial interventions, objects, and text-based works. At the heart of her multifaceted artistic practice lie linguistic and art-historical explorations, with writing remaining the central starting point for Huws. Building on linguistic experiments and poetic reflections, she develops large-scale neon works, photographs, videos, drawings, and texts.

Starting in December 2026, the n.b.k. will present a solo exhibition by Huws in the n.b.k. Showroom, for which the artist is developing a new, room-filling concept. Three weeks before the opening on December 4, the artist will welcome n.b.k. members to her studio and offer insights into the exhibition preparations, her artistic practice, and her longstanding engagement with conceptual art and language.
