Adrian Paci, The Column, 2013, 25:40 min, selected by GAMeC, Bergamo
The Column, a long-term project by Paci, shows the transformation of a block of marble, which, after being extracted from a Chinese quarry, is transported on a cargo ship and converted into an element of high culture – a classical Greek column.

Oliver Ressler, Dario Azzellini, Occupy, Resist, Produce – Officine Zero, 2015, 32:29 min, selected by n.b.k. Video-Forum (n.b.k. co-production), Berlin
Occupy, Resist, Produce – Officine Zero shows the grassroots-level organization meetings of the former Rail Service Italia workers, who occupied an abandoned factory to set up a self-governed recycling workshop called Officine Zero. The name says it all: zero bosses, zero exploitation, zero environmental impact, an income and respectful cooperation.
