n.b.k. presents a solo exhibition by Bethan Huws (*1961 in Bangor/Wales) in the n.b.k. Showroom, for which the artist is developing a new room-filling concept. In her work, Huws explores language in depth as a medium of art. She pursues this inquiry through a range of media, spatial interventions, objects, and text-based works. Linguistic and art-historical investigations are central to her multifaceted artistic practice, with writing remaining her primary point of departure. Drawing on linguistic experiments and poetic reflections, she creates large-format neon works, photographs, videos, drawings, and texts.
