Katya Sander
Katya Sander (*1970 in Copenhagen, lives in Copenhagen and Berlin) is a conceptual artist, writer, and professor at Nordland Kunst og Filmhøgskole in Lofoten / Norway. In her artistic practice, she uses various media such as video, installation, photography, and drawing to analyze spatial arrangements and their cultural, social, and political significance. In doing so, she focuses on the role of architecture, images, and language in the production of meaning and sociality. In addition to her artistic work, she is also active as a writer and editor.
