This short piece portrays a patterning of subway windows as they pass by rapidly and rhythmical, changing their tempos from fast to slow. She uses the windows as the focused shape of the moving pattern, sowing the shots together into one string of motion. The specialty of the windows are the glimpses of people and the many colours of the inside environment, changing from blues and green to oranges and yellows. This work is a small detail of the naturally found patterns of life, which Sandra Becker translates into a beautifully designed video composition. (lg)
