This piece, like many of Sandra Becker s videos addresses life s natural patterns and movements. The main focus is the movement of silhouetted people along a line of dots on the windows of the Heathrow airport. They mimic the pattern of dots, as their counter larger forms that move quickly along the same track. The soundtrack is of a girl s voice, saying two phrases. The phrases are repeated and cut in different ways, to where they sound like a musical beat. The rhythm of the repeated phrases often mirrors the repetition in the images, as faces pass seamlessly over and over again. She creates a musical flow of figures, like patterns on fabric, or beats in a song, constant and repetitious. (lg)
