Ein Mann läuft durch einen verschneiten Wald und rüttelt an den Baumstämmen, um den Schnee herunter rieseln zu lassen. Durch die Verwendung des Stücks "In the Hall of the Mountain King" von Edvard Grieg wird der an sich kindlichen Handlung ein Gefühl von Dringlichkeit und Dramatik verliehen, die der gesamten Arbeit eine Komik aber auch einen melancholischen Rhythmus verleiht. This short video is a scene of a man in a snowy forest. He walks up to each tree in his path and shakes it with his hands, sometimes pushing into it, in order to make snow fall down from the branches above. He succeeds in dislodging snow from some trees and as he continues, occasional streams of snow fall over him, making curtains of white. As he shakes, the sound track of the well known “In the Hall of the Mountain King" plays and builds up dramatically. He continues through the woods slowly, and the music contrasts his somewhat anti-climactic monotonous actions. (lg)
