Acting facts. From testimonies to Peers commission, 1970

The starting material for Acting facts is the witness testimony of the “Peers Panel”, which beginning in 1970 investigated the war crimes of US-American soldiers in My Lai, Vietnam. Based on their intense engagement with the techniques of reenactment and the influence of theater on contemporary art, Moser / Schwinger work with an actor here. He recites and performs fragments of the witness accounts in a constant change of perspective between victims and perpetrators.
