Andreas Koch

Adalbertstraße

Adalbertstraße deals with the spatialization of photographic material. The camera wanders from a window at one end of the (vacant) street slowly zooming out. The central perspective consists of a single take, the work has an extreme depth of focus, made possible by the digital montage of photographic material. Koch deals with urban space, often with unspectacular appearances for which he seeks out new modes of perception.
