Cyber Lenné - SichtachsenIn eigener SacheGroszgen

George Grosz’s pictures provide the starting point for Gramming’s Groszgen, where he attempts to translate them to a contemporary media art aesthetic. This work, commissioned for the exhibition Mythos Berlin (1987), could be conceived as a “reenactment” of paintings in another medium and as speaking with another temporal logic. Similarly, Gramming transformed the garden architecture of Peter Joseph Lenné to a virtual public space for private obsessions.
