Pash Buzari

Crash

In Crash, Buzari combines elements of vehicle collisions from a video game with fragments of car chases from David Cronenberg’s film Crash (1996). The artist films the found material from the monitor and works with close ups and various camera angles. In this way, he creates continuity between “reality” and “virtuality” and takes up the Ehrenburg paradigm of urban collisions in modernity in a way that reflects on the media—the car crash.
