Flight 101 to No Man's LandArde Gardel (Gardel Burns)

Video artist Lascano bases works like Arde Gardel (Gardel Burns) on historical experiences, using them to develop a “digital theorem.” Using a digital animation that is exposed in terms of its technological foundations (Amiga 500, Deluxe Paint III), the death of tango star Carlos Gardel in a 1935 plane crash becomes the point of intersection of an imaginary, virtual historiography that Lascano continues in Flight 101 to No Man’s Land.
