Peggy Buth (*1967 in Berlin, lives in Berlin) studied photography at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (1995–2002). She was visiting professor for photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Mainz from 2010 to 2011. In 2014 she received the Grant for Contemporary German Photography from the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation and the Department of Photography of the Museum Folkwang Essen. Recently her works were shown, among others, at Württembergischer Kunstverein, Stuttgart (2015; 2014; 2009); Kunstverein Hamburg (2015); Mu.Zee, Ostende (2015); Deutsche Bank KunstHalle, Berlin (2015); Museu d’Art Contemporani, Barcelona (2015); Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, Washington (2014); Camera Austria, Graz (2014; 2011); Weltkulturen Museum, Frankfurt/Main (2014); FRAC Alsace, Sélestat (2013); Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art (2013); Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen K21, Düsseldorf (2012); Museum der Bildenden Künste Leipzig (2011); Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (2011).

Kerstin Cmelka (*1974 in Mödling / Austria, lives in Berlin) studied Fine Arts at Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste – Städelschule in Frankfurt/Main (1999–2005). She was visting professor at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2012 to 2015. Recently her works were shown, among others, at Künstlerhaus Bremen (2016); Landesmuseum Niederösterreich, St. Pölten (2015); Kunstverein Amsterdam (2015);  Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe (2015); Ostlicht, Vienna (2014); Kunstverein Langenhagen (2014); Museum of Contemporary Art, Roskilde (2014); PRAXES Center for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2014); Künstlerhaus, Halle für Kunst & Medien, Graz (2013); Kunstverein Harburg (2012); Lunds Konsthall (2012); Elaine – Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Basel (2012); Signal – Center for Contemporary Art, Malmö (2012); KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2011).

Vika Kirchenbauer’s (*1983, lives in Berlin) work has been shown in a wide range of contexts, including museums, galleries and film and video festivals. She was awarded Jury Prizes at Busan International Short Film Festivals (2010), at the International Short Film Festival Hamburg (2012), and at the Florida Experimental Film/Video Festival (2015), among others. Recently her works were shown, among others, at Maus Hábitos, Porto (2015); Kunstmuseum Bonn (2015; 2013); Cinematheque, Winnipeg (2014); Central House of Artist, Moscow (2013); The Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bonn (2011); Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, Berlin (2011); Slaughterhouse Culture Center, Egilsstaðir (2010); Göteborgs Konsthall (2009).

Viron Erol Vert (*1975 in Varel/Oldenburg, lives in Berlin) studied fashion design at the École supérieure des arts et techniques de la mode Berlin (1996–1998) and at the University of Applied Sciences Berlin (1998–2002). He studied Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (2002–2004) and textile- and surface design at the Berlin Weissensee School of Art (2007–2012). In 2008 he received the first Akbank Contemporary Artists Prize Istanbul in the category painting and drawing. Recently his works were shown, among others, at Hartware MedienKunstVerein, Dortmund (2015); Between Bridges, Berlin (2015); Künstlerhaus Stuttgart (2014); Artspace, Auckland (2014); Pavillon am Milchhof, Berlin (2014); 4. Brigitte Werneburg (*1960, lives in Berlin) is editor of tageszeitung. Furthermore she is author and lectures in history of photography at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences.
